Northern Montana Hospital Business Services Support Specialist in Havre, Montana
Business Services Support Specialist The Business Services Support Specialist shall report to the Director of Business Services, and shall be responsible for, and provide technical support for all Business Services Departments. Individual shall evaluate, and maintain the current dictionaries to enhance the flow of information among the Business Services applications, as well as improve revenue cycle performance. This position requires the ability to implement software applications, and updates, as well as maximize the use of automated systems to increase the efficiency of user activities, and minimize costs. Individual shall provide detailed analyses to identify opportunities for improvement, and appropriate restructuring of procedures, systems, and workflows to facilitate efficiencies. Additionally, the selected individual shall be responsible for working with Revenue Cycle Managers to identify, and implement solutions resulting in more efficient workflows in all phases of the revenue cycle, including registration, coding, claims generation, and remittance, and must maintain a working knowledge of all Revenue Cycle functions to aid in process improvement.
Requirements:
1.) Associate’s degree or equivalent knowledge and skills obtained through a combination of education, training, and experience in a Healthcare, and billing environment;
2.) Three (3) years relevant experience in a challenging healthcare environment preferred;
3.) Experience in business information systems in a hospital or ambulatory care setting preferred;
4.) Experience in business office information system management in an acute or ambulatory care setting preferred;
5.) Experience with Windows application systems and Microsoft Office Suite;
6.) Professional demeanor and excellent public relations skills;
7.) Proven ability to successfully work in a matrix team environment that presents significant change and tight time frames;
8.) Proponent for change and demonstrates a continuous improvement mindset, ingenuity, and innovative thinking, and organizational skills;
9.) Advanced medical terminology, and health insurance background;
10.) Must be vaccinated against COVID-19 or submit an exemption request.

Salary is based on certification, and commensurate with up to 10 years of experience.
