Coding Supervisor - F/T The Coding Supervisor is responsible for the oversight of the entire coding team comprised of clinic, outpatient, and inpatient coders. The Coding Supervisor monitors coding productivity and acts as the contact for provider questions and concerns and is responsible for monitoring the quality of coding for all team members, abstracting denial trends, ensuring compliance with external regulatory agency requirements with respect to proper coding, documentation, and reporting. This position will ensure timely submission and completion of all coding tasks and implement workflow changes as needed. This position is responsible for developing and implementing documentation and other educational programs for physicians, documentation specialists/coders and other staff. Strong analytical and communications skills; detailed oriented a must.

REQUIREMENTS:

1) Minimum 5 years experiences in inpatient/outpatient coding

2) CCS, CCS-P, CPC or CPC-H credential required

3) RHIA or RHIT preferred

Salary commensurate with up to 10 years experience.
