Job descriptionAmericInn by Wyndham of HavreJob description: Guest Service Representative-Create outstanding guest experiences by remembering that to do so is to deliver this company’s primary product to its customers-Assure outstanding staff experiences by treating co-workers and their work environment with respect at work, social media and in public-Use outstanding business practices by achieving standards as provided by your supervisors, the owner of this hotel, and its franchisers-Contribute to the long-term success of this and all AmericInn by performing tasks that lead to profitability-Facilitate the flow in information through front desk as it relates to the sale of clean and friendly service to guests.Responsible to the following people:-AmericInn guest, potential guest, and visitors-AmericInn owners, managers, supervisors and other staffOther responsibilities and job duties are as follows:Hospitality:-Report to work on time, well groomed, showered, in uniform, with name tag, ready to work and wearing a smile-Provide assistance and courtesy as needed to guest, and staff, reinforcing AmericInn policy of clean and friendly-Maintain a home-away-from-home atmosphere in the lobby which includes keeping a clean and well stocked atmosphere-Meet all guests with a sincere smile and greeting-Give direction to the guest and visitors to the areas of the Property and to local attractions and businesses as well as assistance in road reports and weather-Enjoy talking about Havre's restaurants and amenities-Perform the laundry activities-Perform minor maintenance tasks, such as tightening toilet seats, TV’s remote sync, etc.-Report and document other maintenance and safety concerns-Clean and prepare cribs and rollaway beds for use or storage as needed-Vacuum/Sweep hallways, stairways etc. and any other various cleaning duties to be completed-All other duties as assigned including but not limited to maintaining swimming/spa.Essential equipment skills that are required:-Property management systems (computer/ will train)-Commercial washer and dryer-Calculator-Credit card machine-Switchboard--Fire alarm system-Fire extinguishers-Cordless telephone-Guest room telephones, televisions, PTAC system, door locks-Utility shut-offs-Coffee makerAdditional equipment skills that may be required:-Time clock-Vacuum cleaner-Guest room alarm clocks/ radios-Commercial laundry chemical dispenser-Pool/Spa systemEnvironmental Hazards:-Personal protective equipment including safety glasses/goggles, rubber gloves and facial mask must be worn and will be provided for you.Typical physical activity:-Speaking, hearing, standing, walking, sitting, writing, repetitive motion, visual concentration, mental concentration, pushing, pulling, carrying, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, able to life over 50 lbsJob Type: Part-timePay: $14.00 per hourBenefits:•Employee discount to all 9000 Wyndham hotels•Vacation after 1 yearSchedule:•6 or 8 hour shifts•Evening Shift (2pm-10pm or 4pm-10pm) •Night shift Tues-Thurs (10pm to 8pm)•Weekend availabilityExperience:•Front Desk: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: In person
