Northern Montana Hospital Help Desk Technician in Havre, Montana

Help Desk Technician Provides technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software. Shall respond promptly to queries, run diagnostic programs, isolates problems, determines and implements solutions. Additional responsibilities include providing training manuals, as well as the installation and training of users regarding their computer peripherals. Must demonstrate excellent communication, and customer service skills. The Technician shall run reports, resolve technical problems, follow up with customers to ensure resolution, and acquire feedback from customers regarding computer usage. The Help Desk Technician must be able to maintain good working relations with all departments, and demonstrate the ability to deal with pressure to meet deadline, maintain accuracy, and calmly handle constantly changing situation. Must be able to accept additional responsibilities as assigned, and must be available for on-call requests.

REQUIREMENTS:

Associates Degree in Computer Science or related Certification in CompTia, Microsoft, Cisco, etc., or equivalent preferred.

Previous 1 to 3 years in a small to medium sized network of servers, desktop systems, and communications devices using current technologies.

Demonstrates knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, desktops, and mobile devices implementation, and support.

Demonstrations knowledge of Active Directory, domain controllers, security software, and internet security encryption concepts, including SSL.

Demonstrates knowledge utilizing cloud infrastructure solutions, setting up remove access for users, as well as the ability to support local/networked printers and scanners

Demonstrates knowledge of wireless networks.

Must work well both individually, and in a team environment,
