Responsibilities and job duties are as follows:Hospitality:-Report to work on time, well groomed, in uniform, with nametag, ready to work and wearing a smile.-Provide assistance and courtesy as needed to guest and staff, reinforcing AmericInn Lodge policy of clean and friendly service-Meet all passing guest with a sincere smile and greeting-Keep noise to a minimum throughout the hotel-Observe practices that foster guest satisfactionSpecifics including, but not limited to:-Clean thoroughly an average of as many as 11 or more rooms per shift-Maintain accountability for paperwork performed during assigned shifts-Clean under bed and furniture-Remove soiled bed and bath linens from guest rooms-Transport linen to and from the guest rooms and to linen storage areas-Empty all trash containers-Make up beds with linens, pillows and spreads-Dust or wash; furniture, equipment, windows, window sills, light fixtures, mirrors, telephones, picture frames, doors, door and window trim, baseboards and other items in guest rooms as stated in the AmericInn housekeeping process-Perform minor maintenance tasks, such as tightening toilet seats, doorknobs, etc.-Clean and prepare cribs and rollaway beds for storage or use-Clean interior and exterior of litter in common areas-Vacuum/Sweep hallways, stairways, and other public areas-Participate in “deep cleaning” process-Wash or replace PTAC units-Check televisions and radios for operation-Replace various consumable items in the guest roomsTypical physical activity:-Sitting, speaking, reading, hearing, standing, walking, writing, reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, able to lift 50 lbs.
