Job Title: IT & Systems Administrator

Company: Nu Wave Services Location: Havre, MT Type: Full-Time

Hourly Pay: $22.00 to $30.00 per hour (based on experience) 

 

Overview: We are a growing company that provides a diverse range of services, including computer systems management, network infrastructure, security camera installations, and industrial automation. We are looking for a Tech-Savvy Problem Solver to join our team as an IT & Systems Administrator. This person will oversee our technology operations and provide technical support to both internal teams and customers. While experience in all areas is ideal, we are willing to train the right candidate who has a strong technical background and a desire to learn.

Responsibilities:

  • Systems Management: Oversee and maintain all internal computer systems, POS systems, networks, and servers to ensure seamless operation.
  • Network Administration: Manage and troubleshoot networking systems, ensuring reliable connectivity and security across all platforms.
  • Security Systems: Coordinate the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of security cameras and related technology for both internal and client-based installations.
  • Industrial Automation: Support the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial automation equipment and related systems.
  • Customer Tech Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and troubleshooting, providing timely and effective resolutions.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed records of system configurations, procedures, and support logs.
  • Vendor Management: Work with third-party vendors and service providers for technology-related purchases, installations, and repairs.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and propose improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Strong technical aptitude with a willingness and enthusiasm to learn new skills.
  • Problem-solving mindset and the ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Excellent communication skills for both internal team collaboration and customer support.
  • Prior experience in IT, networking, or technical support.
  • Experience with industrial automation or industrial technology is a bonus, but we will train you in these areas.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, etc.) are beneficial but not essential.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with cloud platforms and virtualization technologies.
  • Familiarity with remote monitoring and management tools.
  • Experience in industrial automation.
  • Basic project management skills and experience coordinating installations.
