Davey Elementary School Paraprofessional in Havre, Montana
Rural K-8 elementary school, approximately 7 miles outside of Havre, seeking a Paraprofessional to assist with students needing additional help in subjects. Special education background and experience with children is desired but not necessary. Will supervise students in classrooms, halls, cafeteria, school yards or field trips. Will tutor and assist children individually or in small groups to help those master assignments and to reinforce learning concepts presented by teachers. Will enforce school policies and rules. Will discuss assigned duties with classroom teachers to coordinate instructional efforts. Successful applicants need to be flexible, hardworking, take directions of supervisor, maintain flexibility, and work effectively with other staff members. Must have an association’s degree in any subject or take and pass a qualifying test provided by the County Superintendent. Pass criminal background check and have reliable transportation. Work schedule approx. $14.50/hr. or DOE 34 hrs./wk. M-TH 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m., August-May. Earn hourly wage, retirement, sick & vacation leave.Position posted with Davey Elementary School Havre, MT.
