Labcorp Associate Director Neurological Diseases Biomarkers (Remote) in Helana, Montana

Job Overview:

We are seeking an Associate Director Neurolical Diseases Biomarker for our Biomarker Solutions Group. Responsibilities will include the following:

  • Develop biomarker strategies for sponsor clinical/preclinical drug development programs in Neurological Diseases.

  • Meet with clients to discuss our capabilities associated to platforms and target identification (virtual or in person post-pandemic).

  • Hold webinars.

  • Write white papers and peer-review publications about biomarkers in neurological diseases.

  • Participate in Neurological Diseases/Neuroscience-relevant meetings and seminars.

  • Participate in internal meetings to discuss topics related to neurological diseases.

  • Participate in internal Labcorp Business Advisory Team meetings to provide input about new platforms to assess biomarkers.



Candidates with advance degree (PhD, MD) with 5-7 years of related experience will be considered. Candidates with MS degrees and relevant track record of success may be considered.



  • Strong background in Neurobiology and Neurology, especially Neurodegeneration.

  • Knowledge of neurological disease biomarkers in translational science and clinical trial settings.

  • Experience in multiple neurologic disease indications, especially Neurodegenerative Diseases including Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s Disease.

  • Knowledge of a broad spectrum of instrumentation and platforms in use for biomarkers.

  • Current awareness of scientific literature.

  • Experience in Complementary and Companion Diagnostic development preferred.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Highly organized and motivated individual with strong work ethic, flexibility and can-do attitude.

  • Successful demonstrated ability to work independently under minimal supervision.

  • Team member able to collaborate and interact with a variety of different groups in a cordial environment.
