What You’ll Be Doing:

Evolent is looking to hire a Manager of HR Compliance to serve as a strategic leader and subject matter expert working closely with the Legal and Compliance teams on guiding and directing HR policy and process compliance across federal, state, and local legislative requirements. This individual will also stay abreast of the evolving HR compliance landscape and proactively partner with Legal and Compliance teams regarding upcoming changes. We are looking for someone with a passion for great leadership and a desire to develop and grow people.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive approach that operationalizes adherence of Evolent’s HR programs and processes to federal, state, and local employment related regulatory requirements defined by our Legal teams

  • Partner with the Talent Leadership team, Legal, and Compliance functions ensuring alignment on our people policies and programs

  • Through a proactive approach, build and maintain end-to-end business processes for all HR compliance areas including ADA, ADEA, FMLA, FLSA, AAP and EEOC

  • Lead audit of HR policies and programs across our various regions; Maintain compliance with i-9 records and e-Verify requirements

  • Build awareness campaigns within HR highlighting the importance of, and ongoing changes in, HR Compliance programs highlighting risk management, exposure, and escalation process; develops and delivers process guides and training for employees, managers, and HR

  • Partner with the tier-1 employee support team and HRBPs and provide support for questions pertaining to compliance of HR employee data and HR processes

  • Sit on the HR Policy committee as a SME providing advice and guidance

  • Partner with the legal and compliance functions and track external trends in the HR Compliance space, specifically in USA, India, and Philippines

  • Build and oversee a high-performing team of 3 analysts/specialists

The Experience We Prefer:

  • 6-8 years of experience leading HR compliance functions with demonstrated results in process improvement required

  • Experience in Healthcare industry

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field

  • PHR or SHRM certification

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills required, especially in interacting with senior leadership highlighting findings and recommended course of action

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Finishing Touches:

  • Prior experience as HR Generalist or similar positionWorkday HRIS experience preferred

Technical Requirements:

We require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps and, specifically for all call center employees, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router. These at-home technical requirements are subject to change with any scheduled re-opening of our office locations.

The expected base salary/wage range for this position is $90,000. This position is also eligible for a bonus component that would be dependent on pre-defined performance factors. As part of our total compensation package, Evolent is proud to offer comprehensive benefits (including health insurance benefits) to qualifying employees. All compensation determinations are based on the skills and experience required for the position and commensurate with experience of selected individuals, which may vary above and below the stated amounts.
