Position Overview :

This position is tasked with ensuring our internal technology CLOSER platform and its accompanying product line are meeting the needs of the end user. This is facilitated by providing user education, partnering with clients to configure the system to support their unique business processes & managing the delivery of customized solutions. This role serves as the face of the firm to the end client and is ultimately responsible in ensuring a client’s needs are being met and the system is performing to their expectations. This position is expected to possess a strong understanding of the Commercial Real Estate Finance business & how the CLOSER system supports this industry. This position will be remote during the pandemic. Upon the return of normal conditions businees needs may require presence in NY City office.

Essential Job Functions :

  • Managing Custom Development Projects and Client Expectations.

  • Issue Management-Being Attentive, Available, and Responsive

  • Primary point of contact for the client with CJC and is the point of escalation for any matters regarding a client

  • Understands the client organization and key personnel that are important to the relationship

  • Proactively communicates the benefits of CJC’s capabilities and products in a timely manner to strengthen and expand client relationships

  • Participates in and contributes to discussions within CJC related to its products and services, client business content, research and development, and client account management to ensure continuing product improvement, process efficiency, and profitable business strategy

  • Maintains awareness of the progress and completion of defect resolution, project completion, or any other client related matters requiring CJC effort.

  • Develops and approves Statements of Work, billing/invoicing, license agreements/renewals, product documentation and client training materials.

  • Visits clients onsite or offsite ensuring meeting objectives are defined and accomplished.

  • Maintains status records of client account billing.

  • Seeks avenues for business development, either by expansion of relationships with existing clients or by developing relationships with new ones.

  • Serves as the advocate for the client by positively influencing other internal departments to gain support for client issues and build cross-functional consensus, and supports the resulting CJC solutions when presenting them to clients.

  • Maintains awareness of risk for CJC by being aware of a client’s business conditions, strategy and plans, as well as potential threats from competitors or other environmental conditions potentially affecting the relationship between the client and CJC.

  • When necessary, the RM will also write development tickets to meet client needs

  • · Such other activities as may be assigned by your manager

Qualifications/ Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Real Estate Finance, or similar quantitative disciplines is preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Experience in the commercial real estate finance industry strongly preferred

  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel

  • Tangible experience with complex back office processing; effectiveness and proactivity in seeking detailed information or data that either impacts clients or helps gain understanding of a problem the client has reported or a change the client has requested

  • Demonstrated ability to work calmly in a fast-paced team environment

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in order to communicate our basic product functionality effectively

  • Superior customer service skills, with the ability to react quickly and decisively to resolve customer issues in a professional manner

  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills, analytical skills, attention to detail, follow-up skills

  • Strong with relationship management
