Smartronix is seeking a driven and talented Security Architect to join our thriving Cloud Services business unit and work with some of the best Cloud Architects and Cloud Engineers in the market. The individual will be capable of working independently in the role when needed, able to act with a sense of urgency, and willing to contribute as an active member of the Smartronix Cloud community. A strong focus on quality, communication, customer success, and results, the individual will be working alongside some of the best Cloud technologists in the market, jointly driving to successful project execution. Core Responsibilities: + Support the full project lifecycle - to include IT security solution design, implementation and automation, as well as production-readiness and documentation activities, that leverage security best practices + Produce high-quality IT Security technical design, build and procedure documentation + Support project engagements, work collaboratively with other team members, communicate effectively, and foster team success + Be able to jump into troubleshooting efforts when asked and as needed on IT security issues + Design and lead proof of concepts (POCs) and Production implementations + Assess existing environments for opportunities to simply, automate or improve security postures Required Skills and Experience: + Clearance requirement: None; ability to obtain + Bachelor's degree and 5+ years working on customer-facing engagements + 5+ years leveraging AWS platform services in a hands-on capacity + Direct experience working with customers and other technologists to perform requirements gathering, gap analysis, migration planning, development testing, data governance and other architecture and engineering processes in support of security architecture design. + Direct experience implementing AWS and Fortinet WAF solutions + Direct experience architecting and supporting AWS Cognito solutions + Direct experience implementing the Centrify Identity Platform for IAM/PAM + Direct experience supporting the integration of Azure Active Directory Services with applications + Direct experience architecting and implementing least-privileged AWS IAM solutions + Strong analytic, organization, presentation, customer service and facilitation skills + Strong understanding of data security and data governance best practices Desired Qualifications: + Basic knowledge of Terraform and AWS CloudFormation + Knowledge of advanced AWS security monitoring tools + AWS Solution Architect Associate, Professional or specialty-track certification + Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert certifications Vaccination is a requirement of the position per Executive Order 14042.
