Cordis Technical Learning Specialist (Remote) in Helana, Montana

Description

Job Summary: The learning operations role supports the delivery of experiences and solutions that make learning, professional growth, and organization transformation possible. The Learning Operations Specialist will provide excellent customer service, problem solving and operations/technology solutions to the organization.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Primary architect of LMS (Cornerstone on Demand) used by Cordis global organization

  • Manages full catalogue of learning objects on the LMS, new and existing, with immediate focus on the North America education catalogue

  • Works with Education Teams to upload and test content, create new learning objects, edit and revise learning object details, manage rosters and end user transcripts, and manage user profiles

  • Collaborates with global LMS administrators to train them on the desired interaction in the platform, help troubleshoot and communicate technology updates

  • Builds customized reports for use by global LMS administrators and shares metrics on all learning objects with the education organization

  • Confers with internal customers to identify operational, logistics and technology solutions they need to deliver the best learning experience for our employees

  • Works with LMS vendor to integrate system updates and educate global administrators on key functionality

  • Writes new technical procedures and leads User Acceptance Testing, when necessary

  • Demonstrates knowledge of online learning object organization including catalogues, curricula, sequencing and assignments

  • Possesses strong knowledge of and experience in using training system technologies

Education & Experience Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, or Learning Technology, or equivalent work experience, preferred

  • Applies advanced concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform tasks

  • Works on projects of varying scope and complexity

  • Follows established procedures to resolve readily identifiable technical or operational problems
