We also partner with various external vendors to support our products and customers.About the OpportunityThe Associate Director of Test Security will be responsible for managing investigations into individual score validity, plagiarism, and student conduct concerns for the SAT, PSAT, and Advanced Placement (AP) exams in accordance with defined policy and determining whether there is substantial evidence to support the cancellation of a score. This individual will manage cases identified for each administration of the assessments through a review and understanding of statistical evidence, test day reports, and physical evidence available from the test event, as well as managing communications with students, parents, and other student representatives (attorneys, counselors, and other educators) to resolve such cases. This individual will work as part of a team to analyze evidence, make student score review case determinations and manage such cases to resolution promptly and consistently with adherence to legal requirements, and College Board standards and policies.In this role, you will:Investigations (90%)As a critical member of the Test Security team, assist in investigating and assessing individual student scores and tasks to determine whether there is substantial evidence to question the validity of such scores or submissions.Provide primary oversight of ongoing investigations to resolution, including timely and thorough management of caseload, supporting communications (written and phone) with students, student representatives, and parents regarding scores under review, and providing feedback on relevant policies, processes and protocols related to preventing and identifying, investigating, and managing score validity concerns.Assume primary responsibility for data management within the Test Security team's case management system for management of assigned caseload and ensuring appropriate tracking and reporting of case status metrics for Test Security team leadership.Understand and use data forensics and data algorithms to detect patterns of aberrance to investigate and address test security concerns.Coordinate cross-functional tasks across internal and external parties when test security incidents occur, including providing subject-matter expertise on internal and external communications, making, and vetting investigative outcome recommendations for score validity, and plagiarism cases, influencing other large-scale investigations and managing sensitive data and urgent timelines.Project Management (10%)Maintain a thorough understanding of the latest technological advances and emerging best practices related to test security and ensure their incorporation in planning and implementation for College Board assessments.Manage assigned Test Security projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.About YouQualifications may include:Associate degree required; bachelor's degree preferred; 5+ years of progressively responsible work experience in investigative, law enforcement, and/or operational capacities.Strong investigative and problem-solving affinity with analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and inform decisions and actions.Experienced in planning, executing, and closing projects according to their scope, timeline, and budget.Proven organizational and time-management skills.Excellent interpersonal skills including, a professional and diplomatic demeanor in domestic and international locations, whether as part of a team or on your own, and experience managing emotional customer calls and requests.Ability to work as part of a diverse team to develop solutions in collaboration with others.The ability to travel 3-5 times a year.Experience managing relationships with internal and third-party resources and vendors.Excellent PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and MS Project skillsAbout Our Benefits and CompensationCollege Board offers a strong compensation and benefits package that attracts top talent looking to make a difference in education.Our robust benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, tuition assistance, paid time off, paid parental leave, retirement benefits with a generous matching program, and more.We reward performance through annual bonuses and provide opportunities for salary growth over time through base compensation increases, merit raises and promotions.We believe in compensating staff members fairly in relation to each other, their qualifications, and their impact. The salary range for a new employee in this position is $56,000 to $90,000.
