Your pivotal role involves precise preparation, examination, and analysis of financial statements and documents, applying advanced accounting principles, and swiftly resolving discrepancies. * Duties include evaluating documentation provided and reconciling to ensure accuracy for making payments. * Reconcile invoices, research and resolve accounting discrepancies, and collaborate with agency members and providers to address issues. * Responsibilities encompass classifying, recording, and reporting financial operations with accuracy, and providing valuable insights for budgeting decisions. * Actively participate in developing streamlined accounting procedures to ensure compliance with financial regulations. * Maintain accurate financial records by meticulously managing accounting ledgers, journals, and registers. * Reconcile statements and transactions for reliable financial reporting. * Provide guidance to technical and/or support staff, fostering a collaborative work environment. * Participate in claims analysis through data warehouse. * Ability to gather verify and analyze medical claims to resolve complex problems. The hourly rate of this position will increase by $1.50 per hour or 4% whichever is greater starting July 1, 2024, in accordance with HB13.
