MASONIC HOME OF MONTANA Activities/Life Enrichment Coordinator in HELENA, Montana
The Masonic Home of Montana, an Assisted Living Facility built in 1906 has a full time position open for the right applicant to become our new Life Enrichment Coordinator. The right candidate will be enthusiastic, compassionate, creative, flexible and energetic. The right applicant will hold the ability to demonstrate a true passion for Senior Care and Life Enrichment opportunities for Residents. They will hold strong leadership, organizational, time management, conflict resolution and communication skills.
The Life Enrichment Coordinator will be responsible or organizing, planning and implementing all facility activities and life enrichment opportunities for Residents, outings, special events, shopping and transportation for Resident appointments or other needs to name a few. Some lifting of Residents, moving of heavy objects, stooping, bending, climbing stairs and standing for long periods along with some direct care of residents will be required at times. The Life Enrichment Coordinator will supervise the facilities Cinderella Shop which employs one Cosmetologists and must be a good team player and hold the ability to work as a -Universal Worker- as the situation arises. This position typically is M-F with Holidays off. Some occasional weekend, Holiday or evening time will be required.
The right applicant will hold a valid Drivers License and be able to pass a driving records check, a high school diploma or GED equivalent, have at least 1 year supervisory/leadership and or direct care experience in Senior Care. Consideration may be given to other qualifying backgrounds, credentials or college degrees. Applicant must be able to pass a criminal history check and a pre-employment drug screen.
