This position will ensure visitors are appropriately and securely assisted. Major Duties or Responsibilities Administrative Support * Greet visitors, answer inquiries and direct visitors to the appropriate person according to their needs. * Answer telephones and give information to callers, record messages and transfer calls to appropriate individuals. * Maintain and enter information into databases. * Proofread documents, records, or other files to ensure accuracy. Program Assistance* * * Operate office machines, such as photocopiers and scanners, facsimile machines, voice mail systems, and personal computers. * Manage paper or electronic filing systems, recording information, updating paperwork, or maintaining documents, such as correspondence and other materials. Physical and Environmental Demands:Typical Office Environment with Keyboarding Requirements. Occasional lifting up to 30 pounds. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (Behaviors) Required for the_first day of work_ * Knowledge of administrative support and office work. * Written and verbal communication skills. * Customer service skills. * Ability to organize and prioritize work. * Ability to handle and maintain confidential information. * Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships. * Ability to operate personal computer and general office equipment as necessary to complete essential functions, including using spreadsheets, word processing, database, email, internet, and other computer programs. * Ability to recognize and solve problems.
