SHI ASG Solutions Architect - Azure in Helena, Montana
Job Summary
The ASG Solutions Architect – Azure will provide customer-facing services to our customers to help them define and oversee Azure-based initiatives. The ASG Solutions Architect is responsible for helping strategize, architect and implement various Azure solutions that support SHI customer’s move to the Public Cloud. The ASG Solutions Architect will design and implement enterprise infrastructure and platforms required for cloud computing, analyzing system requirements and ensuring that systems are securely integrated with current applications.
This position is a remote position with Home Office setup as determined by SHI management.

Responsibilities
Include but not limited to:
Design and implement Azure solutions and related technologies including but not limited to, Network Design, Security Architecture, Governance Best Practices and Connectivity
Perform design and implementation work that may include logical design, I/O design, cloud architecture analysis and design, system migration and systems engineering
Serve as the technical lead and subject matter expert on projects and workshops, overseeing the work of others and being accountable for the outcome of the project
Develop technical roadmaps for future cloud implementations on Public Cloud platforms
Plan, manage, and troubleshoot Cloud services deployment
Perform PowerShell, python and bash scripting for automation, documentation and standardization
Develop business case analysis on potential project
Ensure security is integrated into all cloud architecture solutions
Assist sales team in identifying and closing opportunities through customer meetings and presentations
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of technical experience with increasing responsibility
Completed Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related field
Deep understanding of system development in cloud environments, including Software as Service (SaaS), Platform as Service (PaaS), or Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).
Thorough understanding of Cloud Computing: virtualization technologies, Infrastructure as a Service, Platform as a Service and Software as a Service Cloud delivery models and the current competitive landscape
Thorough understanding of infrastructure (firewalls, load balancers, hypervisor, storage, monitoring, security etc.) and have experience with orchestration to develop a cloud solution
Experience migrating workloads toAzureor managing workloads inAzure

High level reading comprehension to examine manuals and technical reports to keep up with advances and implement new technology that meets employers’ or clients’ needs
Certifications Required
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
Unique Requirements
- Travel to customer sites, up to 10% annually
Additional Information
The estimated annual pay range for this position is $125,000 - $220,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
