Vontier Associate Product Manager in Helena, Montana

INTRODUCTION:

The Coats Company is seeking an Associate Product Manager who will report to the Director of Strategy & Product. This individual will own the product development, roadmap, and vision for Automotive Lifts. The Associate Product Manager will work closely with the Marketing team to improve brand awareness, product interest, and customer engagement for this growing product line.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Become an expert of Automotive Lifts though hands-on training with the product line.

  • Gather and analyze insights related to customer preferences, buying habits, wants, and needs.

  • Weigh insights against strategic priorities to develop a roadmap of feature improvements for the product line.

  • Manage product lifecycle; work cross-functionally with key stakeholders to execute your roadmap and vision.

  • Anticipate and resolve tactical roadblocks before they manifest into strategic concerns.

  • Monitor industry trends and competitor positioning to develop a differentiated product.

  • Coordinate with Marketing to generate brand awareness and product interest through search, social media, and email.

  • Reach new customers and generate business leads through research and data analytics.

  • Promote products in alignment with the company’s brand and marketing strategy.

  • Respond to customer/partner inquiries with timeliness and care.

RELATIONSHIPS

  • This position reports to the Coats Director of Strategy & Product. This individual will interface with all functional departments and other external stakeholders.

MEASUREMENTS OF PERFORMANCE

  • New customer leads.

  • Revenue growth.

  • Margin expansion.

  • Success of new Lift products (New Product Vitality).

  • Net Promoter Score (NPS).

WHO YOU ARE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or associated fields.

  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

  • Willingness and aptitude to learn new software systems and tools.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-2 years of business experience.

  • Experience or certification in project management.

  • Demonstrated interest in the automotive sector.
