Job Summary:
The Benefits Administrator handles day-to-day employee benefit administration activities and acts as a liaison with our benefits vendors. This position provides high-level support to both internal and external customers to resolve issues and answer inquiries and works with payroll and accounting to ensure accurate deductions, billing, and plan contributions. The Benefits Administrator also assists management to ensure that the total benefits package offered to employees is comprehensive and administered well.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
• Act as first point of contact in responding to employee/consultant benefit inquiries and resolving any benefits issues
• Process all 401(k) deferral and loan changes and upload weekly 401(k) contributions
• Upload all HSA and FSA contributions to vendor site weekly
• Monitor weekly vendor error files/reporting
• Monitor new hire enrollment and coordinate with payroll for any necessary adjustments
• Assist with distribution of required plan documents upon enrollment and on an annual basis
• Send weekly communications to employees/consultants regarding benefit enrollment and termination information
• Process and monitor weekly COBRA changes
• Assist with Open Enrollment planning and execution
• Ensure that benefits-related information is accurate and maintained in all applicable systems
Additional Duties/Responsibilities:
• Assist with creation of benefits materials and benefit filings
• Assist with maintaining the benefits sections of the HR intranet page
• Assist with ACA tracking and reporting
• Participate in wellness program planning and administration
• Provide benefits reporting to Finance/Accounting on a regular basis/upon request
• Process State Child Support withholding requests/documents
• Provide assistance with benefits-related projects
Required Skills & Abilities:
• Familiar with benefits regulations (ACA, ERISA, IRS & DOL regulations, COBRA, HIPAA, etc.)
• Experience with HRIS systems (ADP Workforce Now a plus) and general experience integrating with payroll/finance
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office • Must be highly focused on customer service • Must be self-motivated and highly attentive to detail
• Must be able to effectively handle a high volume of requests from multiple sources and track ongoing issues
• Must be able to operate at a high level of confidentiality
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree and 1-2 years of benefits administration experience preferred; high school diploma and 3-4 years of benefits administration experience required
• Experience with multi-location company or multiple benefit classes a plus.
Hourly Rate - $22/hour - $25/hour
The base salary rate will be commensurate with previous experience and relevant skills and knowledge.
This position includes additional variable compensation in the form of an annual/quarterly bonus opportunity
W2 employees of Eliassen Group who are regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for the following benefits: medical (choice of 3 plans, some with an Employer HSA contribution), dental, vision, pre-tax accounts, other voluntary benefits, basic life and disability insurance, 401(k) with match, and PTO consisting of 10 holidays, 5 sick days (or more if required by law in the state/locality where you work), 15+ days of vacation (based on tenure), bereavement leave, and 6-8 weeks paid maternity/disability leave and 2-4 weeks paid parental leave (based on tenure).”
