State of Montana Block Grant Section Supervisor (32689) in Helena, Montana

The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Addictive and Mental Disorders Division (AMDD), Prevention Bureau. This position works for Addictive and Mental Disorders Division. The Block Grant Section Supervisor oversees the Substance Abuse and the Mental Health Block Grants in the Prevention Bureau. This position is responsible for managing the budget, spending, and reporting and overseeing the contracting and compliance of federal requirements for block grant funds. This position is responsible for the fiscal management of a multi-million dollar annual budget, that includes initiating and monitoring subrecipient contracts, budget, and invoiced expenses; projecting expenditures for all programs within the section; identifying potential challenges and proposed solutions related to contracted services, program budget and grant spend-down; taking the actions necessary to keep expenditures within budget; and ensuring compliance with Federal requirements and Terms and Conditions of all grants within the section. Responsibilities include supervision, oversight, consultation, management of AMDD Prevention Bureau state funded and federally funded grants and contracted services, providing support to staff, contractors, and other partners.
