The Prevention Bureau Chief has primary responsibility for planning, coordinating, and ensuring effective implementation of federal block and discretionary grants related to prevention of substance use disorder and promotion of mental health. What You Can Offer Us * Knowledge of public health and prevention programs. * Knowledge of personnel management and supervision concepts and practices. * Written and verbal communication skills to articulate programs and requirements clearly and concisely to a variety of audiences. * Conflict resolution skills to respond to conflicting interests in designing and implementing systemic and reimbursement changes. * Meet minimum qualifications: • The position requires a bachelor’s degree in human services, business administration, or closely related field. • The position requires 5 years of relevant experience including public health and prevention program design and administration, as well as grant management, including at least three years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
