Oracle Business Process Analyst 4 in Helena, Montana

Job Description

Responsible for the delivery of Product Specifications Documents to supplier partner(s) or delivery of process specifications to meet business specifications.

May be done in partnership with business partner(s) or via guidance to business partner(s) for execution. Defines system specifications needed to roll out flexible business models. Responsible for understanding business objectives. Performs process or functional analysis to identify gaps compared to specifications, confers and/or drives issues with management for resolution, and ensures overall fulfillment of business specifications. Responsible for day-to-day engagement with business and/or process subject matter experts. Advises and consults with business teams prioritizing allocation of people resources, addressing project team problems ensuring that all team deliverables are met, and developing and presenting proposals of project plan and getting agreement from appropriate stakeholders. Understands and applies theories to policies and operating environment needed to effectively and efficiently complete assignments.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8 years relevant work experience. BS/BA preferred.

The successful candidate will be responsible for all supportability aspects of selected software and hardware products from initial conceptualization through to end of service life. Supportability requirements include conducting supportability risk reviews and putting mitigation steps in place for any identified risks. The role is responsible for the setup and maintenance of support product structures within Oracle Corporate and Support systems. The role works closely with the other Oracle teams to ensure that internal purchases are planned and executed along with planning spares stock availability in the correct region and center. Once products are released the role will continue to maintain product structures for supportability as well as identify and troubleshoot any spares issues that arise. As products reach End of Life the role plans for any changes to systems structures as well as tracking last time buys for the period between End of Life (EOL)and End of Service Life (EOSL). The role will manage and drive approvals for End of Service Life and execute the changes needed to the systems for EOSL. The role also undertakes adhoc tasks such as providing backup or advice to other GBU teams with support product issues or engaging in project work such as MOS2CX project activities. Through all of the tasks above a key responsibility is management communications and disseminating information across support and other teams such as strategy, development, procurement, field service, SCO etc

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and advise on supportability aspects of software and hardware products through entire Lifecycle

Manage expectations at product end of life and end of service life

Ascertain supportability risks and to plan mitigation steps for any identified risks at all points of product lifecyle

Ensure support labs are provisioned with necessary hardware for key support locations

Execute adhoc tasks and project activities such as providing backup support and advice to other teams for product release tasks and engaging in project work such as ensuring the product release needs of new systems are met


6+ years of experience working with business processes and ideally with product lifecycle management

Exceptional communication skills and an ability to work across teams

Strong Analytics skills in order to manage products through entire lifecycle

Strong Troubleshooting skills to deal with risks that arise during product lifecycle

Proven ability to develop , document and improve business processes as needed

Business or Technical Degree
