Job Details

We are looking for a Campaign Quality Assurance Specialist to work within the Salesforce Marketing Cloud to confirm accuracy and provide support throughout the development and launch of email campaigns, related landing pages, and SMS sends. This role involves reviewing campaigns for content and copy accuracy, functionality, and rendering quality, and confirming deployment setup accuracy and subscriber segmentation. The consultant will clearly communicate all inconsistencies back to the appropriate resource for correction. In addition, the Campaign Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for maintaining and continuously improving process and quality assurance documentation. An ideal candidate will guide the customer as needed, providing input on strategy, including product advisory support and enablement.

Your Impact

Success will be measured by campaign accuracy, customer satisfaction, team collaboration, and effective and efficient campaign workflow management.

  • Collaborate with members of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud Campaign Delivery team to understand key campaign inputs and parameters, such as subscriber audience, creative assets, data-driven personalization, and developing an appropriate, customer-specific testing approach

  • Provide quality assurance reviews and other support throughout the process of developing, coding, and launching Marketing Cloud email campaigns, related landing pages, and SMS sends

  • Review key aspects of the design, build, and deployment processes to ensure optimal quality, including:

  • Email construction and coding, including some HTML, CSS, and AMPscript

  • Email editorial and creative content, including copy and visual elements

  • Email functionality, including links and data-driven personalization

  • Subscriber data import and segmentation, including data extension configuration and filters

  • Deployment configuration, including subject lines, audience selection/exclusions, and send date and time

  • Communicate inconsistencies back to appropriate resources for correction

  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve campaign process and quality assurance documentation

  • Guide the customer as needed, providing input on strategy including product advisory support and enablement

Minimum Requirements

  • 3+ years of digital marketing experience or equivalent experience with demonstrated proficiency

  • Knowledge of email marketing standard methodologies, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or related email software

  • Effective written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills with an impeccable eye for detail

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience creating customized testing scenarios and processes

  • Strong knowledge of spreadsheet tools (Excel, Google Sheets, Quip Spreadsheets)

  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, AMPscript, and email coding standard methodologies

  • Knowledge of related testing tools such as Litmus and/or Email on Acid

  • Ability to work effectively within fast-paced teams and manage multiple collaboration channels, tools, and resources

  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects and customer deadlines with minimal oversight

  • Ability to decipher digital assets and understand how components inter-relate

  • Good understanding of the latest trends in processes efficiencies and methodologies

  • Experience working in a customer-facing role
