Westaff Carpentry Foreman in Helena, Montana

Westaff is seeking a Carpentry Foreman for a local company in Hall, MT!Schedule: M-F, 8am-5pmTerm: Permanent Pay: $30-$40/hour DOE Responsibilities:Lead and supervise a team of carpenters on commercial construction sitesInterpret project plans and specifications to delegate tasks efficientlyCoordinate with project managers, Superintendents, and other trades to ensure project timelines are metImplement and enforce safety protocols and regulations on siteTrain and mentor carpenters on best practices and techniquesProvide guidance, training, and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and performanceLead and motivate a team of carpenters to achieve project goals and deadlinesResolve conflicts and address any issues that may arise among team membersDelegate tasks and assignments to carpenters based on project requirements and individual skillsFoster a collaborative and cohesive team environment by encouraging open communication and teamworkConduct quality inspections to ensure work meets project requirements and industry standardsManage materials and equipment needed for each projectMaintain tools and equipment, and ensure they are used properlySupervisory Responsibilities:Overseeing the daily operations of the carpentry teamEnsuring work is completed efficientlyMaintaining a safe and productive work environment Qualifications:3 years of proven experience as a Carpentry Foreman in commercial constructionProficient in carpentry tools, rough and finish carpentry.Thorough understanding of commercial construction processes and techniquesStrong leadership and organizational skillsAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprintsKnowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standardsValid driver's license and reliable transportationCertification in carpentry or related field preferred Working Conditions:Extensive airline and automobile travel required (Up to 3 weeks per month)Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the construction site in all types of weather.Engage in hands on carpentry workMust be able to lift 100 poundsOvertime may be required to meet project deadlinesRequirement for various physical positions such as sitting, standing, kneeling, squatting, walking, and drivingDexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse and other business machines Interested?
