[montana-logo-4.png (121×121)] The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Healthcare Facilities Division. * * This position coordinates assigned program activities with other departments and outside agencies to provide highly responsible and administrative support to the Chief Healthcare Facilities Officer. This position will provide support for the management of planning, development and implementation of all budgets and contracting and all other financial operations/functions of the Healthcare Facilities-Financial Operations Unit. Qualifications for this Career Opportunity * * * Expertise with healthcare or hospital administration, finance, or facility billing and proven abilities to build high-quality, efficient, and cost-effective systems of care. * Expertise operating licensed and regulated facilities and operating delivery systems in the constraints of national, federal, and state accrediting, licensing, and regulatory bodies. * Understanding of the policies, procedures, and funding mechanisms of the state and federal programs that govern healthcare organizations and/or behavioral health facilities. * Experience with local, state, and/or federal regulations and statuses governing fiscal matters. * Strong oversight and staff-management techniques, ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, and ability to negotiate and persuasively express opinions. * Meet minimum qualifications: o Bachelor’s degree in a discipline relative to the program, business, public administration or a closely related field and from an appropriately accredited institution o 5 years of progressively responsible professional management experience o Progressively responsible experience with healthcare or hospital administration o Other combinations of education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis * * How to Apply To be considered for a DPHHS position, submit the following required documents with your application on the State of Montana Careers website.
