Citizens is looking for a Direct-to-Consumer Relationship Manager to lead Sales Optimization efforts for client programs across its high-growth Point of Sale business—Citizens Pay.

Develop sales and marketing strategies to help grow Citizens Pay originations through the acquisition and retention of new financing customers through retail partner relationships.
Provide consultative services to merchant/retailer clients across all partner verticals to aid in optimization of sales through improvements in Customer Experience, SEO, SEM, digital marketing tactics, and in-store experience related to financing.
Partner with Relationship Managers, Marketing, Data Science, Creative teams, and members of an Agile Pod on the development and implementation of marketing and sales optimization programs, including outbound email, paid social, display, etc.
Collaborate on test strategies, measurement, and analytics of program performance with a mindset of continuous improvement.
Coordinate review and approval of partner produced marketing and program training materials.
Oversee merchant/retailer relationships directly to manage and represents the client and the CFG partnership; addressing expectations, escalating and resolving concerns, facilitating implementations, operational enhancements and liaising with internal partners - product, credit risk, contact center, risk, legal, compliance, finance etc.
Maintain a detailed understanding of client forecasts, volume, and loss exposure.
Ensure program compliance with all governance protocols and requirements.
Design and implement micro-market research, satisfaction surveys to share industry insights with our merchant partners and internal stakeholders to help drive shifts in messaging and offers.
Demonstrated marketing and sales optimization leadership
Previous experience working as a client partner relationship manager or a track record of managing partner relationships.
Critical thinker with experience bringing the joint vision of clients and stakeholders to life
Self-directed with strong organizational/follow-through skills and ability to effectively deliver quality and timely results against multiple priorities
Professional demeanor with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Expertise with presentation development and delivery
Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders across diverse business units and professional levels
Ability to travel as required
Preferred: Understanding of consumer lending legal and regulatory requirements
5 years – Digital marketing or advertising agency experience
5 years – Relationship Management or has held roles in client-facing program management
Preferred: 3 years – Financial services experience, either directly or through support of financial services clients
BA/BS required; MBA preferred

Hours per Week: 40
Work Schedule: M-F 8-5
