CTG sales team is growing. We are looking to add hunters to help grow our client base across North America.


Responsible for growing CTG’s business in North America. Is seen as an industry expert and strategic advisor to clients’ IT and operational stakeholders, able to communicate the business value of CTG solutions and that of our partners. Sells CTG solutions; solicits and maintains favorable contacts with new clients. An entrepreneurial self-starter with more than five years selling IT solutions in a particular industry. Works closely with Managing Directors and CTG stakeholders from delivery, solutions, recruiting, and finance to ensure clients understand and appreciate the value of CTG solutions.


• Key component of CTG Industry Sales Team

• Add new CTG clients by leveraging internal support teams, personal network of relationships, and CTG partners

• Meet or exceed CTG industry and team financial objectives

• Manage pursuit team to meet/exceed assigned objectives

• Identify obstacles and define CTG strategy to defeat/overcome them

• Works to grow CTG capabilities (solutions, delivery centers) by generating demand for CTG solutions

• Collaborate with delivery and solutions to develop account plans and sales win plans

• Leverage existing relationships and build new relationships at all levels of the customer organization

• Provide regular status updates on the customer requirements, changes that may affect our support, forecasts into the clients business environment

• Monitor client AR to ensure that invoices do not go beyond 90 days

• Perform other duties as required to fulfill responsibilities


• Develop opportunities and close business within established accounts and/or prospects effectively

• Work closely with marketing, lead generation, and the broader industry sales team to ensure personal, team, and CTG objectives/metrics are met

• Foster client confidence and strengthen selling relationships by demonstrating business and IT value

• Navigate the CTG sales process, client and industry challenges, and communicate the value of CTG solutions within and across the client’s business

• Research client issues, business problems, and pains using market intelligence and effective listening skills

• Develop and maintain territory plans, account plans, and win plans

• Find, develop, manage and maintain client relationships

• Manage opportunities following the CTG Sales Process

• Effective use of CRM and other CTG tools to ensure proper account management including client activity (key meetings, campaigns, leads, opportunities)

• Successfully manage the transition of strategic clients to the Existing Business team

• Provide coaching to more junior Client Partners

• Perform other duties as required to fulfill responsibilities


• Bachelor’s degree

• Minimum 7 years’ experience selling information technology services within a specific industry

• Expertise in presentation and negotiation skills

• Expertise in communication skills and developing strong client relationships

• Competence analytical skills and ability to aid with problem-solving

• Strong leadership skills five

• Proven track record selling CTG-like IT solutions in a specific industry

• Clearly understands the business value of IT solutions in a given industry

• Understands the value of partners and has experience working with partners to solve customer problems

• Collaborative self-starter who understands the importance of the role and works with urgency to close business
