Hotel Maintenance Supervisor
General Manager or AGM
Performs duties to oversee property maintenance of grounds, building facilities, and guest rooms to ensure daily cleaning, upkeep, preventive maintenance, small repair, and tasks to meet Town Pump and brand operational standards. Some locations may require driving the shuttle van. Model the Hotel Group Mission Statement “Genuine Hospitality from genuine people committed to providing comfort and service.”
QUALIFICATIONS and SKILLS NEEDED:
General knowledge and understanding of heating, air conditioning, electricity, and plumbing required.
CPO required or to be obtained at soonest scheduling availability within hire.
Apartment, building, or lodging maintenance experience preferred.
Knowledge and ability to use basic work tools and equipment.
Ability to work well under limited supervision.
Ability to communicate in a courteous, professional manner with teammates, management, and guests.
Ability to be punctual and work within a flexible work schedule.
Ability to compute intermediate math including geometry.
Valid Driver’s License with acceptable Driving Record.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure the best possible experience for each guest, within the framework of Town Pump operating guidelines. Display a high degree of work ethic and pride in workmanship.
Complete all required company and brand specific training and/or certifications in a timely manner.
Follow Town Pump’s grooming and appearance guidelines and wear uniform and nametag at all times while on shift.
Order and install small maintenance items as needed for repair, under direction of General Manager or Assistant General Manager.
Complete tasks and assignments on daily and preventative Maintenance Checklist.
Ensure exterior building and grounds are clean and clear by removing trash, debris, as well as removing weather related hazards such as snow, ice, and other debris.
Complete Maintenance Request Forms within 24 hours.
Report all known issues with services, equipment, and property; ensure work orders are in place.
Complete and record daily pool/spa readings.
Keep detailed and complete maintenance and inventory records on all the tools, equipment, and mechanical systems on property.
Ensure all equipment, tools, and inventory stock is secure at all times.
Practice safe working conditions under Occupational Safety and Health Administration guidelines to include Blood borne Pathogens.
May be required to perform duties in other departments, as needed such as cross train with the Front Desk.
Comply with Town Pump expectations for confidentiality of guest and company information.

Ability to tolerate cleaning solutions on a regular basis.
Ability to operate a motor vehicle in all types of weather and road conditions.
