Oracle Consulting Technical Manager, PeopleSoft FSCM (remote) in Helena, Montana

As a recognized authority and leading contributor within their practice, this senior-level consulting position provides consistent high quality and innovative solution leadership to a project team. Leads the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget.

Analyzes business needs to help ensure Oracle solution meets the customer’s objectives by combining industry best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen. Exercises judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques to deliver functional and technical solutions on non-routine and very complex aspects of applications and technology installations. Provides direction and mentoring to project teams, and effectively influences customer leadership on key decisions. Supports the business development efforts by pursuing new opportunities and extensions. Collaborates with the consulting sales team by providing domain expertise. Resolves complex customer issues by recommending and implementing solutions. Demonstrates expertise in multiple business processes across two or more product families or ability to architect and design technology solutions encompassing multiple products and make decisions based on impact across the stack.

8-10 years of experience relevant to this position including 4 years of consulting experience. Prior team leadership or management experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Strong influencing and negotiation skills. Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

Oracle is hiring a PeopleSoft consultant who has experience in FSCM (Purchasing, Inventory, Strategic Sourcing, ePro, GL, AP, AR, Project Billing and Costing). The ideal candidate should have deep experience with the above stated modules. Will work with clients to understand and document requirements as well as map requirements to standard Oracle EBS functionality.

Oracle PeopleSoft Consultant with experience in FSCM (Purchasing, Inventory, Strategic Sourcing, ePro, GL, AP, AR, Project Billing and Costing). The ideal candidate will have deep experience with the above stated modules. Working with clients to understand and document requirements as well as map requirements to standard PeopleSoft functionality. Consultant will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the PeopleSoft FSCM application consulting team supporting the configuration and extension of the PeopleSoft FSCM modules. Candidates should have prior PeopleSoft FSCM implementation consulting experience, ideally in a Public Sector environment.

Recommends and justifies enhancements to Oracle products to meet very complex customer needs. Exercises creativity and independent judgment in developing methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to deliver functional and technical expertise on a wide range of business and technology solutions. Leads experienced consulting teams on challenging projects; works on significant and unique issues. Enables business development efforts by providing subject matter expertise. Resolves very complex customer escalations. Drives customer process direction and decisions by providing domain leadership within relevant industries on end-to-end enterprise solutions. Understanding Oracle Procurement functionality and capabilities to drive the teams to design and develop application configurations along with assisting with quarterly update testing and new feature evaluation.

Position Requirements:

Basic Qualifications:

8+ years FSCM - Purchasing, Inventory, Strategic Sourcing, ePro, GL, AP, AR, Project Billing and Costing.

  • Recommends and justifies enhancements to Oracle products to meet complex customer needs.

  • As a thought leader and customer advisor, influences customer leadership in acceptance of Oracle solutions and services to facilitate the closing of consulting deals.

  • Provide thought leadership around industry leading practices for improving operational efficiencies and profitability of client business.

  • Work with client and Oracle team to develop business solution designs to ensure that business requirements are met.

  • Experience as a resource in the implementation full lifecycle of at least 5 FSCM and Procurement project and Supporting Oracle EBS with hands-on configurations.

  • Minimum 5 years of strong experience in FSCM while working with PeopleSoft Applications

  • Ability to configure PeopleSoft Applications to meet client requirements and document application set-ups.

  • Assist with design workshops and functional process workshops in all FSCM areas.

  • Demonstrated experience in gathering and documenting business requirements, leading fit-gap analysis. conference room pilots (CRPs) functional configuration, testing, client user training.

  • Define testing scenarios and develop validation scripts.

  • Support clients with the execution of validation scripts.

  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities over multi-user teams while meeting deadlines.

  • Preferred Geographical Location: US Nationwide.

  • All candidates must be eligible to obtain a security clearance if needed. No exceptions.

The successful candidate must be willing and able to travel up to 75%.
