About this Position The Commerce Director’s Office provides centralized finance, budget, communications, marketing, legal, IT and HR services and resources for the Department Divisions and attached boards. The Copywriter reports to the Communication Director and is responsible for the development of content for all the Department’s various programs. The Copywriter coordinates with subject matter experts in the drafting of press releases, web articles, newsletters and print material as needed and supports VisitMT’s earned media program. This position is open until filled with a first application review date of March 17, 2025 Education and Experience: // · A Bachelor’s degree in English, Creative or Technical Writing, Journalism, Marketing, Communications or a similar field · Applicable experience in copywriting, copyediting or similar fields · Alternate combinations of education and experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
