About The RoleSummary
The Quality Assurance Supervisor reports directly to Glacier Bancorp's Corporate BSA/AML Officer and provides oversight of the Bank's AML/CFT Quality Assurance (QA) Program and day-to-day operational support for a team of QA analysts. The supervisor further participates in the execution of the company's AML Program, as directed by the BSA/AML Officer.
This is a Corporate position which may be located at an available bank division location across our eight-state footprint in AZ, CO, ID, MT, NV, UT, WA, or WY. The entry rate for this position is $66,311.82 +/- per year (calculated for Kalispell, MT).
All compensation offers are analyzed individually and take into consideration multiple factors including but not limited to geographic location, years of experience, and educational background.
Description
- Supervise and provide day-to-day operational support for a team of QA Analysts to ensure the timely execution of AML/CFT QA reviews. Manages and trains a team of QA Analysts including hiring, directing job assignments, monitoring staff performance, coaching, counseling, training and compliance training completion, disciplining as necessary, assuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational mission, values, policies and work rules. Performs staffing assessments to ensure work volumes are managed and deadlines are met. Appraises performance for staff promotion and termination, as appropriate.
- Develop and maintain standard procedures to detail the bank's efforts related to the Bank's AML/CFT QA Program.
- Generate regular reporting to the BSA/AML Officer and other leadership teams, committees, and Boards specific to QA program performance and testing results.
- Explain QA testing results to Corporate BSA Team leaders and employees, as well as first-line Division employees.
- Lead projects related to the enhancement of the Bank's AML/CFT QA Program.
- Create training materials related to areas of responsibility. Provide ongoing, targeted training to direct employees.
- Identify areas that could benefit from QA testing and develop relevant QA program testing processes and methodology.
- Support the BSA/AML Officer in gathering documents and responding to requests from internal auditors, examiners, and other evaluators in a timely and accurate manner.
- Support the BSA/AML Officer and Corporate BSA Department Management in resolving issues, participating in special projects, and strategic initiatives, and other duties, as assigned.
- Monitor and stay current with AML/CFT and OFAC regulatory, industry developments, and best practices
- Must comply with all company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. Must complete the assigned online training courses and achieve a passing score by due date.
