Join Our Team as a Cost Analyst and Make a Difference in Environmental Protection The Petroleum Tank Release Compensation Board (PTRCB) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Cost Analysis Specialist to play a crucial role in overseeing program compliance and ensuring the efficient operation of the Petroleum Tank Release Cleanup Fund. About the Fund The Cost Analyst provides assistance to tank owners and operators who incur costs associated with cleaning up petroleum contamination. The Cost Analyst will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the Fund's resources are utilized effectively and in accordance with established guidelines, laws, and regulations. Key Responsibilities * Serve as an expert on program compliance, ensuring adherence to guidelines, laws, and regulations pertaining to eligibility for the Fund. * Analyze actual, reasonable, and necessary costs to the Fund, ensuring that claims are legitimate and aligned with established criteria. * Provide recommendations to the Board regarding eligibility for the Fund, claims, and work plan reviews. * Develop and implement continual process improvement tools for stakeholder groups and staff to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. * Assist with database improvements and quality control to maintain data integrity and accessibility. * Professional Development and Career Growth The Cost Analyst position offers a rewarding career path with opportunities for professional development and pay progression. Minimum requirements include: •Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communication, Environmental, Hydrology, Geology, or a related field. • Office software knowledge • 2 or more years ofjob relatedwork experience in environmental cleanup, construction/construction management, insurance, accounting/finance or a related field.
