Pearson Data Analytics Technical Consultant in Helena, Montana

As a Data Analytics Technical Consultant, you will play a crucial role in providing expert guidance and support services to our clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful deployment and utilization of our products by our customers. This role demands a combination of technical expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to understand and address client needs effectively. The Technical Consultant will play a key role in the integration, implementation, and analytics delivery of Pearson’s SaaS and DaaS solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients and prospects to understand their business and data needs.

  • Solution Development and Delivery: Identify and understand client problems and design compelling solutions maximizing the benefit of our product and applications

  • Data Analysis: Use Python, SQL, and APIs to access, transform, and onboard large dataset into Pearson’s systems.

  • Solution Implementation: Configure, customize, and optimize Pearson’s solutions to meet client-specific requirements.

  • Analytics & Reporting: Develop and deliver data-driven insights via multiple mediums including Tableau, creating impactful dashboards and reports for clients.

  • Understand our technical product ecosystem: understand the products and applications of our offerings aligned to client use cases

  • Training & Support: Provide training sessions for clients and ongoing technical support, troubleshooting issues related to data integration and analytics.

Technical Skills

  • Programming: Proficient in Python for data manipulation and automation.

  • SQL: Skilled in writing and optimizing SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.

  • Data Visualization: Advanced experience with Tableau for creating custom dashboards and reports.

  • API Experience: Hands-on knowledge of working with APIs for data integration.

To be successful in this role you will be:

  • A strong problem solver, who is comfortable with complex ideas and projects

  • An analytical thinker with strong digital literacy

  • Existing or open to acquiring domain expertise in learning, learning solutions and workforce planning

  • Confident in communicating complex ideas to a variety of stakeholders, including executive level

  • Open-minded, lifetime learning attitude

Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. As required by the California, Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, New York State, New York City, Washington State, and Washington DC laws, the pay range for this position is as follows:

The minimum full-time salary range is between $85,000 - $95,000 per annum.
