LINCARE Delivery Driver - Medical Equipment in HELENA, Montana
Job Description This employee drives and delivers equipment to perform equipment setups, specifically concentrators, durable medical equipment, etc. in a professional, safe, and timely manner. This equipment is placed in apartments, private homes, clinics, hospitals, nursing homes, and other areas where people with respiratory problems are treated. Will be responsible for a high level of customer service as this role is patient facing. Job Functions - Drives Lincare vehicle - Works independently and must be detail-oriented, with excellent organization - Fully aware of procedures in delivery and setup of respiratory equipment - Completes equipment orientation checklists for new equipment and other necessary paperwork as required for new patient setup Instructs patients in the safe and proper use of equipment - Makes oxygen deliveries (cylinders, concentrators, liquid reservoirs) and equipment checks on a daily route as determined by patient base and Lincare routing system - Performs minor equipment repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment both in the home and at the center For equipment repairs requiring other than minor repair work equipment is to be packaged for shipment to the manufacturer or their designee Responsible for equipment maintenance per schedule recommended by the manufacturer - Drives and maintains company vehicle in clean and orderly manner Makes daily inspections and completes proper paperwork Maintains established preventative maintenance schedule - Follows FDA guidelines pertaining to cylinder tracking and oxygen analyzer testing Cleans rental equipment when returned to the center, in accordance with Lincare policies and procedures Maintains cleanliness and organization of warehouse/storage area Qualifications - High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required Work Experience - Minimum of one-year experience in home healthcare field as service representative or equivalent position Required Licenses and Certifications - Valid Driver's License Required Wage: $18.00/hour Benefits: Outstanding Benefits package includes 120 Hours Paid Time Off/year; Medical, Dental, Vision; 401(k); Disability coverage; Life insurance; Identity Theft protection, and more!
