The Director will be responsible for supporting the compliant growth and development of the Primary Market Division within Credit Services. This position will work with Senior Management in Credit Services as well as internal partners in the SAMC Legal and Compliance Divisions to support those business units in the ongoing maintenance of all state licensing and regulatory requirements needed to achieve successful growth in Origination Fulfillment Services.
Additionally, this position will act as a liaison between Operations and Sales in the general support and implementation of SAFE act UW units, KPO staffing teams and Component per file support services in the Fulfillment Division.
The Director may also be called upon to support business development activities by engaging with clients on an as needed SME basis to consult in the design and structure of Fulfillment Support Models.
The position will report to the Managing Director of Residential New Origination and Fulfillment Services with a dotted line to the General Counsel and the Global Head of Compliance.
Essential Job Functions:
Assists the Compliance and Legal Departments in developing and maintaining a state licensing matrix and redundancy plan to ensure compliant growth. Regularly reviews emerging regulatory requirements to ensure proper licensing is held as required.
Works closely with the Director of Fulfillment to forecast staffing and sourcing needs.
Works with operations and production in the design of staffing plans to help achieve financial and productivity targets in the Fulfillment business unit.
Works with Director of Quality management to ensure that developmental goals for specific personnel are being met and that overall review quality and proficiency are improving.
Works with Director of Production to track capacity for each scope to ensure future projections are accurate, to properly accept new projects and provide timelines based on what our capacity/current commitments are, and to initiate additional hiring of staff and/or cross training of staff, as business needs indicate.
Execute operational strategy alongside the Production and Personal Management team while improving morale and supporting client delivery relationships.
Collaborate with Offshore management team to ensure daily commitments are met and both onshore and offshore teams have sufficient workload to minimize downtime.
Conduct one-on-one conversations with direct reports if applicable to discuss job performance, evaluate potential areas of improvement and provide motivation for an overall positive work environment.
Collaborate with Sales division to on board new clients, maintain existing relationships with clients and assist with any changes or updates to volume, review scope and pricing.
Interface with HR & Payroll when required to address staff issues and coordinate resolutions.
Conduct annual, semi-annual, or other reviews of assigned personnel if applicable as required by SitusAMC.
Such other activities as may be assigned by your manager.
Qualifications/ Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of 15+ years of industry and/or relevant experience, typically with 2+ years in a SVP level role or external equivalent.
Minimum 15 years Mortgage/primary market experience preferred
Demonstrated ability to manage and supervise a team; prior management experience within the last ten years and for a minimum of two years.
Minimum experience required by rating agencies or internal policies (currently seven) years in the mortgage market / secondary market)
High level of proficiency of Microsoft products; advanced in Excel using formulas, etc.
Exceptional communication skills; both written and verbal
Strong team-building skills and ability to motivate others to meet job demands.
Detail oriented, highly organized with the ability to multi-task.
Demonstrate professional behavior, punctual, dependable and adhere to company policies and procedures.

The annual full time base salary range for this role is
$165,000.00 - $220,000.00
Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval. SitusAMC offers PTO and paid holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the program policies. All full time employees also are eligible to participate in various benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance and 401K; in each case in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
