Job Description
The Director Reporting & Stars Analytics is responsible for directing the management and delivery of reporting and analysis for internal and external customers. The position oversees the reporting and analytic services provided to our Stars and Quality business partners, driving a technology strategy and enhancing analytic offerings.
Responsibilities
Responsible for leading Stars and quality data compilation, data management, data analysis, and reporting.
Influence and build relationships with people across all levels of the organization internally and externally.
Extracts and compiles various sources of Stars and Hedis information and large data sets from various systems or applications.
Sets up process for monitoring, tracking and trending information and data using various systems or applications.
Researches and analyzes report results identifying opportunities and trends within Stars, Hedis, and pharmacy programs.
Works with internal, external, and enterprise individuals as needed to research, develop, and document new standard reports or processes for Stars and Hedis.
Leads team and other Stars and quality team members as requested on all things data related.
Direct and oversee the department to ensure that reporting and analytics deliverables and initiatives are completed in a timely and accurate manner
Drive transformation and process standardization, execution, and improvement for reporting and analytics services
Serve as thought leader in the design, prioritization and execution of strategic projects to improve data management and analytic offerings across Prime
Partner with other leaders to understand needs to business partners and drive development of analytic methodologies, models, processes, reports and new products in response to business needs
Develop standardization of best practice processes, procedures, and templates
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; HS diploma or GED required.
8 years of work experience in business intelligence, reporting analysis/development, and/or data analysis including at least 5 years of that experience directly in Stars and quality.
5 years leadership/people management experience.
Experience working with report generating technologies (like Business Objects, Tableau, etc.)
Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship
Additional Qualifications
Proven ability in providing decision support leadership and improvements within a large organization with sophisticated processes
Strong leadership skills and ability to leverage Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies, for example: TQM, Lean, etc.
Knowledge of best practice project methodologies in leveraging partnerships with business and technology project management offices
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree
Previous experience working with databases, datamarts, or data warehouses
Experience presenting to executive leaders and clients
Minimum Physical Job Requirements
Constantly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, talk and hear
Frequently required to reach with hands and arms
Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, and crouch
Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
Reporting Structure
- Reports to a Sr Director in Stars and Quality departments
Potential pay for this position ranges from $124,000.00 - $211,000.00 based on experience and skills. Pay range may vary by 8% depending on applicant location.
