We are seeking a motivated, intellectually curious, diligent, communicative and creative thinker to join our team to work on pressing energy and resource challenges. Candidates should have interest in the field of energy efficiency or energy management. They should have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, be highly self-motivated to perform and learn, be able to work collaboratively and independently, and manage assigned tasks and projects from start to finish with input from supervisors.

Responsibilities
Work independently to complete assigned tasks in research efforts, ensuring consistency and quality of research methods.
Conduct primary and secondary data collection.
Clean and analyze collected data using Excel or other analytical software from various sources.
Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, summarize program events, and reach meaningful conclusions for inclusion in clearly written reports.
Assist with project management activities such as internal project coordination and budget tracking.
Calculate energy and demand impacts of energy efficiency equipment.
Qualifications
0-2 years of professional experience and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, physics, mathematics, economics, statistics, mathematics, environmental studies, or other quantitative social science.
Proficient in MS Office applications, including Excel and Word.
Excellent writing, communication, and critical thinking skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, including setting priorities and adapting to changes in a time-sensitive, deliverable driven workplace.
Ability to provide timely communication and proactively reach out for assistance or clarification.
Familiarity with project management tactics, including scheduling and budget tracking.
Strong organizational, detail-oriented skills.
Desired Qualifications
Familiarity with energy sector or utility industry.
Familiarity with Python/Jupyter, R, VBA, Matlab, SQL, Access, FileMaker, or other analytic languages or platforms.
Engineering/physics or statistical analysis training a plus.
Applied experience with quantitative or qualitative research activities in academic or professional setting.
Additional Information:
Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as a U.S Perm Resident or U.S. Citizen.
Based on eligibility and job status, Cadmus offers an excellent benefits package to include: medical, dental, vision, company paid disability and life insurance, 401(k) program, paid time off (PTO), paid holidays, voluntary time off (VTO), tuition reimbursement, adoption assistance program, other optional benefits and various bonus programs.
The minimum starting salary for this position is $60,000. The actual salary may be higher and will be determined by several factors, including relevant work experience, education, skills, and market competitiveness.
