SUSSEX CONSTRUCTION Equipment Operator in HELENA, Montana
Sussex Construction is seeking a full time Equipment Operator Duties: - Ability to effectively communicate to ground personnel, truck drivers, and supervisors. - Perform basic daily maintenance and resolve any issues with equipment - Use various pieces of equipment to perform fine grading and finishing, sloping and banking, backfilling, paving, demolition, ditching, loading, excavating, and stockpiling. - Promote, execute and adhere to MSHA, OSHA, company, and state rules and safety regulations. - Locate underground services, such as pipes or wires, prior to beginning work. - Capable of operating multiple pieces of construction equipment used in construction, base preparation, underground construction, and paving. Qualifications: - Ability to monitor/assess performance of yourself, other individuals, and organizations to make improvements or take corrective action - Time management, communication and interpersonal skills. - 2-5 years Equipment Operating experience required. - Must be able to travel periodically. - Must have a valid driver?s license, reliable transportation. - Must be able to pass background, pre-employment and periodic drug screening. - Must be able to meet physical demands standing, sitting, walking, bending, stooping, and lifting 75 plus pounds.
