Location(s): This position could primarily be remote, but proximity to an Elevance Health major office (pulse point) is preferred. Elevance Health supports a hybrid workplace model with pulse point sites used for collaboration, community, and connection.
The Event Planner Sr is responsible for planning and executing conferences, and special events for the sales force and negotiating and managing industry partnerships and partnerships. The Event Planner Sr will be executing our event presence, meaning they will need to travel 25%-50% of the time domestically. There is no international travel required.
How You Will Make an Impact :
Identify conference branding needs and work with Carelon Creative Studio to design conference/event collateral
Develops online registration system information with outside vendor or internally, depending on the complexity of the registration process.
Identify key industry partners to develop marketing partnerships with. Manage those partnerships to maximize return.
Execute industry conference presences
Assists in the preparation of presentations when requested.
Contracts with vendors for event arrangements such as hotels, transportation, activities, etc.
Surveys event participants to solicit feedback to use in enhancing future events.
Requires a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Travel is required.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:
- Certified Meeting Professional Designation preferred.
For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $57,520 to $121,536 annually.
