The Randstad Sourceright finance team is responsible for the financial agenda of Randstad Sourceright (RSR) in NAM. The commercial finance team drives sound decision making and field steering through monthly forecasting of 100+ client programs, review and analysis of monthly performance, and driving initiatives to improve the business. The team supports the long term growth of the business through strategic planning and annual budgeting with regular review of the progress made toward the initiatives identified in these processes.
This team is also closely aligned to the global commercial finance teams to work on cross - regional projects and navigate our global RSR business. Additionally the team works intimately with the local Randstad (finance) teams which execute a number of finance processes on behalf of Randstad Sourceright (e.g. accounting, pay/bill, AP/ AR). The RSR finance team in NAM consists of 5-10 FTE and the commercial finance team is 7 people.
Purpose of the job.
This is a key role focused on the commercial control framework for the US portion of RSR NAM. Together with the Finance Director, the Finance manager has P&L responsibility for one region in our largest country within RSR with $850M+ in revenue and 1400 FTEs. As commercial Finance manager, you will be a key business partner for the Senior Vice President of your respective region on the different practices RPO, MSP and RSPS.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide analytical support and leadership to operating Senior Vice president
Analyze monthly results to identify key growth drivers and trends, track actual results vs. budget
Monitor and report on areas of operational risk and/or opportunity and help enable efficiency across our portfolio
Drive the monthly forecast process to ensure visibility to client volume expectations and drive performance at the account level
Develop quarterly forecasts, monthly outlooks and annual budget plan
Provide pricing analysis on new and current customers
Be financial conscience for operating business
Identify opportunities to align and streamline processes across the RSR finance team (and globally, where applicable) to drive a common way of working
Minimum 4 Year / Bachelors Degree University level degree in finance/economics or related degree required
Preferred Graduate Degree Masters degree preferred
Minimum 7 years of experience
Working with rounded financials management experience, including minimum 4 years financial planning and analysis
Strong analytical skills with advanced knowledge of spreadsheets and other tools
Proven ability to influence and collaborate with executive leadership internally and externally
Proven ability to consult with and identify needs to drive value creation
Proven track record in problem solving
Experience in providing analytical insights that constantly challenge and support the group to continuously strive for better results
