The Corporate Services & Data Solutions Essbase team provides development, support, and maintenance of the company’s Oracle Essbase platform to achieve defined business goals across the company. The Oracle Essbase platform includes Oracle Essbase, Oracle Hyperion Planning, Oracle Financial Reporting, Oracle SmartView for Excel, and related technologies.

As an Oracle Essbase Developer, you will be a part of the team responsible to develop and support Oracle Essbase by interacting with business stakeholders and other members of the team to support and deliver solutions. If you have strong knowledge of finance processes, a working knowledge of Oracle Essbase solutions from a development perspective, a proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment, and a desire to work in an information systems environment, we want to talk with you.

How you’ll spend your time:

  • Involved in scope, estimate, design, document, develop and test of technical solutions to exceed the clients’ needs and expectations.

  • Responsible for development tasks as it relates to Oracle Essbase which will include building cubes, calc scripts, load scripts, report scripts, and formula creation.

  • Analyze disparate data sources to aid, design, and build Essbase solutions while documenting procedures, testing, and validating Essbase.

  • Support and maintain all aspects of production Essbase databases and processes.

  • Support and maintain Oracle Hyperion Planning and Oracle Financial Reporting.

  • Involved in developing and implementing process improvements utilizing the toolsets.

  • Serve as a resource and advocate for business partners.

We’re excited to talk with you if:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related discipline. Although this is not required, this is highly preferred.

  • At least 5 years of experience using Oracle Essbase or equivalent multi-dimensional technology.

  • Experience with Essbase concepts including detailed knowledge of multi-dimensional data models.

  • Experience with production support and development which includes developing, deploying / scheduling jobs, and setting up Essbase system security.

  • You have the following preferred skills / experience:

  • Oracle Essbase Cloud platform

  • Oracle Planning

  • UNIX shell scripting

  • PowerBI/Tableau/Oracle Analytics Cloud

  • ETL knowledge

Open to qualified remote candidates.

The pay range for a candidate selected for this position who is based in Colorado is typically $72,870 to $135,450 annually. The selected candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, including but not limited to work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay for the selected candidate may be above or below this range. The successful candidate will also be eligible to participate in one or more incentive plans based on company and individual performance.

Compensation Range:

Minimum: $72,870.00 - Mid Point: $104,160.00
