This position conducts Management Information System and Program monitoring to ensure data accuracy and compliance with state and federal laws, rules, and regulations, and demonstrate program effectiveness for federal reporting. If you are the right person for this opportunity you will have the following knowledge, skills or abilities: Knowledge of: * Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and procedures of governmental accounting. * Federal grant administration, practice and procedures. * Accounting systems. * Research and analysis techniques. * Various program management practices, theories, systems. Skills in: * Monitoring and auditing practices and procedures. * Analyze information, make decisions and devise solutions to problems. * Program management and plan implementation. * Developing graphical representations of data and processes. * Conducting feasibility studies and cost benefit analyses for projects of moderate to large complexity. Ability to: * Analyze, interpret and apply laws, regulations, complex policies, data and results. * Plan, organize, gather information and conduct research. * Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously. * Build working relationships among individuals with varying technical abilities. * Communicate effectively verbally and in writing. * Operate a personal computer and general office to complete the essential functions, including using spreadsheet, word processing, database, email, internet and other computer programs. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The essential duties of this position are typically acquired through the following combinations of relevant education and experience equivalent to six years. * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field. * Two years of directly related experience. OR * Six years of directly related qualifying experience. Preferred experience: * Knowledge of state and federal workforce programs, State of Montana accounting systems, policy development, and digital record-keeping systems. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may also be considered on a case-by-case basis. *How would you let us know that you’re the right person?
