Job Title: Foreman

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Foreman to join our team. The Foreman will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, possess excellent leadership skills, and have a thorough understanding of project planning and execution.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate construction activities on-site

  • Manage and oversee the work of subcontractors and construction crew

  • Ensure projects are executed according to plans, specifications, and quality standards

  • Monitor progress and provide regular updates to project stakeholders

  • Collaborate with project managers to develop project schedules and budgets

  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations

  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction

  • Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily reports, progress photos, and change orders

  • Assist in the procurement of materials and equipment as needed

Essential Skills

  • Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices

  • Proficiency in using construction software such as Bluebeam or HeavyBid

  • Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team

  • Solid understanding of OSHA regulations and safety protocols

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick decisions on-site

  • Effective communication skills to liaise with clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders

  • Experience in budgeting and cost control

Work Environment

Travel required to job sites around Bozeman, Helena, Great Falls, and Butte. When the job site is 60 miles from Bozeman, lodging is available, and a $45 per day per diem is provided.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00
