Summary:

This individual contributor will have strong consultative, issue-spotting, communication, and analytical skills/capabilities and will thrive considering concurrent projects while working with a cross-functional team to drive outcomes. As a member of the Global Risk, Privacy & Compliance team, you will tackle and solve challenging problems while acting as an internal advisor and risk mitigation consultant to cross-functional partners at all levels by understanding legal/compliance requirements, HR process and data gathering business requirements.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable with ambiguity and juggling priorities while finding creative solutions to challenging business goals. We are looking for someone with a solid understanding of privacy and compliance principles within an HR context, who is familiar with the unique responsibilities of managing sensitive and special category data and has experience managing risk across multiple jurisdictions. Required Skills:

  1. Partner with People/HR Compliance & Privacy colleagues to understand and represent global legislative requirements and landscape of Self-Identification

  2. Monitor integrity of system functionality and requirements that support the gathering and processing/use of sensitive employee and candidate data

  3. Manage narrative and framing of compliant solutions to gathering candidate and employee diversity data

  4. Collaborate with relevant cross-functional risk focused teams, such as Employment and Privacy legal partners, People/HR Compliance, People Data Privacy and others

  5. Develop and manage a framework for global risk considerations/regarding new diversity data gathering, use and controls

  6. Manage inputs and document requirements from cross-functional stakeholders while balancing risk impact on business goals

  7. Partner with Legal and Compliance SMEs to take proactive steps to comply with emerging requirements related to diversity/Self-Identification data gathering and reporting

  8. Engage with various technical/engineering/product partners to implement updates and changes to associated functionality and requirements

  9. Manage and respond to expectations of cross-functional partners such as Recruiting, DEI and Analytics teams, at all levels

  10. Evaluate and implement options for insights that highlight shifts and trends in participation and aggregate results

  11. Influence access control/governance framework for Self-Identification data

  12. Demonstrate exceptional judgment and discretion when dealing with highly sensitive people data

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 8+ years experience in one or more of these fields: HR risk management, HR Compliance (including Privacy) or Employment Law

  2. Demonstrated experience with issue-spotting and risk-based decision making in HR environment

  3. Experience scoping and managing complex projects with diverse stakeholders

  4. Experience working autonomously in a fast-paced, demanding environment, with competing priorities

  5. Experience considering nuanced and complex business, compliance and legal inputs

  6. Experience managing and interpreting confidential and sensitive data

  7. Project management experience with multiple stakeholders, prioritizing and delegating projects/tasks

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Detailed knowledge of relevant labor and employment as well as privacy legislation

  2. Juris Doctor degree

  3. Senior HR Professional certification such as SHRM-SCP
