As the HR Business Partner, you will support the Senior Manager HR Business Partner with a variety of HR activities to support the evolving organizational needs of the Engineering Department.
Job Description
We are looking for a HR Business Partner to support the Senior Manager HR Business Partner with a variety of HR activities to support the evolving organizational needs of the Engineering Department . This position will be a full-time, contract and remote.
What You'll Do
Collaborate with the Talent Attraction team on engineering hiring by providing tools/resources to help them find qualified talent, reviewing offer proposals to ensure alignment to the client's job framework and market data, and working with managers where needed to enable us to fill roles quickly
Maintain routine reports and analytics to track hiring progress, headcount budgets, and future headcount needs
Support the succession planning process by helping to manage project communications, system updates, and adherence to process milestones
Relaunch the successor development process refining the process, enhancing development tools/resources, drafting communications, holding training sessions, participating in talent reviews, and ensuring the organization is adhering to project milestones
Assist with organizational changes which may require help with system changes, communications, and change management
Define and analyze employee data to monitor trends and identify risks or improvements that will support the growth and health of the organization
Provide support for global HR programs and initiatives such as goal setting, engagement surveys, performance management, compensation planning, etc
What You'll Need
Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field
3+ years of HR-related work experience (HRBP, HR Generalist, HR Coordinator, or similar capacity)
Understanding of HR fundamentals, including recruitment, employee engagement, performance management, compensation, and employee relations
Ability to handle sensitive situations with confidentiality and professionalism
Process-oriented mindset, with the ability to create and optimize training content, processes, and tools
Solid project management skills, with experience managing projects from inception to completion
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
Comfort with presenting information to diverse audiences of 50+ employees
Demonstrated data analytics capability with the ability to interpret HR data and present it to leadership
Proficiency in MS Office Suite with experience using MS Excel to analyze data
Ability to work in a global environment – able to accommodate varying time zones and capable of collaborating with individuals across geographies
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
