JOB OVERVIEW – This position provides strategic and HR operational expertise in delivering HR services in a variety of human resource areas such as performance management, talent acquisition, change management, coaching, career planning, compensation and rewards, employee relations, data analysis, or learning and development. Responsibilities include providing operations HR expertise and solutions in various HR areas, address employee relation issues, work complaints and other employee concerns. Writing and approving of job vacancy announcements using effective language and salary guidelines. Reviewing, screening and/or participating on interview panels and guide managers though current recruitment and selections practices. Providing management with information or formal training regarding HR topics, such as interviewing, performance appraisals, counseling techniques, or documentation of performance issues. Developing and implementing employee communication plans and methods associated with organizational changes and/or HR processes. Performing management functions, including hiring, firing, performance management, discipline, work distribution, and employee development. This position reports to the agency Human Resources Manager and manages and supervises at least 2 full-time employees.
