The Teachers’ Retirement System (TRS) serves active and retired teachers and educators in the State of Montana. Its primary purpose is to administer their pension plan, which includes (but is not limited to) payment of retirement benefits, collection of member contributions and enrollment of new members. What is this career opportunity? We are looking for a dedicated individual with an eye for detail to join us as an Imaging Technician. This position is responsible for preparing, scanning, and verification of documents received or produced by TRS. The technician reviews scanned files for quality and rescans as necessary. This position receives, opens and distributes agency mail each day. What are we looking for? Education and Experience: * High school graduation or equivalent; * One or more years of job-related experience such as imaging technician or administrative support; * Experience imaging software such as FileNet or Perceptive Content would be a plus; * Other combinations of education and experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Competencies: /Knowledge of:/ * Basic office practices and procedures. Working knowledge of Windows-based operating systems, standard office practices and procedures, and records management practices; * Working knowledge of personal computers, printers, scanning equipment, Word processing and use of Microsoft Excel and Word. /Ability to:/ * Work independently and in a team environment; * Communicate with supervisor and co-workers in a professional manner; * Organize and retrieve paper and electronic files * Use reason even when dealing with emotional topics.
