As part of the Innovative Medicine Transcend program, you will have the outstanding opportunity to be a key player in the modernization of our foundational maintenance and engineering transactional CMMS system and processes!

Transcend is a global business transformation program that will modernize our foundational transactional processes and harmonize them into one “clean” ERP as a standardized platform for growth and efficiency gains.

The program will simplify the Innovative Medicine ERP landscape from 7 to 1 SAP systems, standardizing processes in order to have a cost effective, fit for purpose digital backbone that will enable us to support the Innovative Medicine business with agility. Additionally, the program will remediate the end-of-life system exposure that we risk towards the end of this decade.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the MAKE-CMMS global business template with SAP functionality for maintenance and engineering processes at Johnson & Johnson's Innovative Medicine division.

  • Collaborate with IT and cross-functional teams to ensure the detailed development of the template across all manufacturing sites and co-located R&D sites.

  • Drive world-class maintenance and engineering practices by providing mentorship and support to local teams in adherence to the template.

  • Proactively identify areas for improvement and recommend innovative solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the CMMS and the maintenance and engineering business processes.

  • Strictly adhere to compliance and regulatory requirements in all aspects of template development and deployment.

Qualifications

Education:

  • University/Bachelor’s or equivalent degree is required. A focused degree specifically in Engineering, Informatics, or related field preferred.

Experience and Skills

Required:

  • A minimum of six to eight (6-8) years of related work experience.

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) implementations in SAP S4 and/or Maximo.

  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of effective approaches in Asset Management on a global scale.

  • Ambitious and driven individual with a track record of successfully implementing global business templates.

  • Strong ability to communicate and work well with individuals at all levels, encouraging teamwork and positive relationships.

  • Skill in identifying and prioritizing project goals and tasks to ensure timely completion.

  • Flexibility to travel as needed to support global implementation efforts.

  • Proficient in English writing and speaking.

Preferred:

  • Experience working in a global/regional setting, or experience in a large-scale business transformation program.

  • Understanding the business process linkages across Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, Finance, Master Data.

  • Proven experience in maintenance and engineering management within a manufacturing and R&D environment.

  • Experience with data migration.

  • Experience with document management systems.

  • Experience with planning and scheduling systems.

  • Experience with maintenance related cost accounting.

  • Experience with capital investment processes.

  • Experience in equipment calibration processes.

  • Experience in AGILE software as well as program deployment methodology including JIRA.

Other:

  • The anticipated base pay range for this position is $99,000 to $170,200.

  • The anticipated base pay range for this position, in the Bay Area, is $113,000 to $195,730.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.

  • Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

  • This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.

  • Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

  • Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year

  • Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – up to 56 hours per calendar year

  • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year

  • Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
