Oracle International Tax Manager - 1 Year Contract Position (Remote) in Helena, Montana
Compiles information for statutory reports as well as internal tax reporting. Ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns.
Be an integral partner in Oracle's business decisions to enhance shareholder value by providing tax-related advice globally to all business units. Assist with governmental audits, internal audits and/or fiscal recharges. Ensure company complies with worldwide statutory tax reporting specifications. Focus areas include transfer pricing and intercompany transactions. identify international assignment tax issues for employees working in another country. Develop strategies to minimize corporate tax through use of tax laws and regulations. May be involved with tax implications of mergers and acquisitions.
Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. Maintain current knowledge of all tax laws affecting Oracle. Detail oriented, analytical, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment. 5 plus years experience in public accounting firm and/or high technology industry. CPA and or MS/MBA tax preferred.
Oracle’s Corporate Tax department is looking for an International Tax Manager to support our International Tax Filings. Responsibilities and skills are as follows:
Manage and comply with international tax compliance deadlines,
Prepare and manage reports and required documents for international compliance filings,
Prepare and review tax calculations and filing forms before submission to tax authorities,
Prepare and manage tax account reconciliations including resolution of open items,
Manage document retention according to international and company regulations,
Prepare and manage information for tax audits,
Effectively manage communication with internal and external teams to meet deadlines.
Support tax team and manage projects when required.
Bachelors in Accounting. Graduate or Postgraduate in Tax preferred.
6+ years of Corporate International Tax Manager experience in both compliance and consulting. This includes preparing, reviewing and managing international tax compliance and rules, up to a level of solving complex tax scenarios,
6+ years of Accounting and/or Tax Experience in Big 4 and/or Multinational companies,
Proven level of accuracy and willingness to roll off sleeves for processes and numbers details,
Self-directed, ability to lead, and move in an international fast paced and changing environment,
Strong ability to communicate well with remote international teams, including excellent oral and written communication skills,
Expertise with ERP accounting systems,
Expertise with Microsoft applications.
Spanish Knowledge is a plus but not a requirement.
Certain US customer or client-facing roles may be required to comply with applicable requirements, such as immunization and occupational health mandates.
Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated location(s)
California Pay Range: from $87,300 to $170,000 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Colorado Pay Range: from $82,500 to $153,000 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
New York City Pay Range: from $82,500 to $161,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Washington Pay Range: from $92,200 to $161,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience and market conditions, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
