As an Instructional Interventionist Teacher, you will work as part of the Special Education team that serves 8,000 students at 18 campuses across Helena. These positions serve a 187 day contract scheduled for 7 hours a day. Starting salary range is $41,615 - $65,763 based on education and experience in addition to a competitive benefit plan. Teach district approved curriculum.
Develop lesson plans and instructional material.
Provide individualized and small group instruction to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each pupil.
Who we are looking for: To become part of this dedicated team, you have a Montana teaching certificate with elementary and/or special education endorsement area. The ideal candidate will possess multiple endorsement areas, and at least a year of successful teaching experience in an elementary classroom. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally relocate items weighing up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities include read handwritten or typed material, and the ability to adjust focus. The position requires the individual to meet multiple demands from several people and interact with the public and other staff.
